Taming Destiny - Book 1: Leap

A desperate man is thrust into the dangerous, unknown wilderness, where even survival comes at a price, in this gripping adapt-or-die portal fantasy.

Markus Wolfe has lost his parents, his girlfriend, and now, his job. He’s at his lowest point with nothing left to lose. Or so he thought. But when an apparition appears, promising Markus a mysterious inheritance, he’s given the opportunity to discover what he’s got to gain: a purpose.

Transmigrated into a vast wilderness with no signs of civilization, Markus is forced to rediscover who he is while fighting through confusion, fear of the unknown, and the very real threat of death. He had the courage to take the first step, which at least grants a point in his favor but he’ll need more than that to succeed. His only objective is to outlive and outlast everything that’s coming—for one year. But what’s coming for him is absolutely beastly.

Armed with an extra-dimensional Inventory, a map, animal allies, and a new Tamer Class, Markus is ready for whatever this untamed world has in store for him. Almost . . .

Because the ravaging Jurassic predators circling their prey are beyond imagining, and so are the promises of Markus’s mysterious benefactor, should he survive. Right now, it’s a kill-or-be-killed world. Welcome, traveler. Best of luck.

Taming Destiny - Book 2: Growth

A man must determine who he wants to be as he faces new threats and battles prehistoric killing machines in the second book of this gripping portal fantasy.

Ever since Markus Wolfe transmigrated to a lizard-eat-lizard world in which nature has reverted to an almost Jurassic-level wilderness, he’s been uncertain of his patron Nicholas’s ultimate goal—but he has learned how to increase his skills and outlast the man-shredding beasts that cross his path.

Things get personal when Kalanthia, Markus’s leopard companion—known as the Great Predator to her enemies—is attacked, and her precious cub, Lathani, is captured during the struggle. Having already overcome so many odds, Markus isn’t prepared to let his luck run out just yet.

Now he’s on a new quest to find Lathani alive, and he’s determined to make sure the odds remain in his favor. Accompanied by Bastet, his raptorcat ally, Markus embarks toward perils unknown with one pressing question: Who—or what—in this uncivilized world could be crazy enough to get on Kalanthia’s bad side?

Tracking Lathani, they find the chilling answer in a desperate and dodgy village of lizard folk who’ve been driven to the brink by a fast-encroaching forest of sentient killer trees. As Markus faces this unexpected threat and the darkness that lies ahead of him, he realizes this journey into the treacherous valley isn’t merely a survival mission but one of self-discovery—and it might just reveal who he truly is . . .

Taming Destiny - Book 3: Shaping

In this gripping portal fantasy, a man must gather his strength to fulfill his promises and meet the demanding challenges of the wilderness he now calls home.

Despite barely surviving his arrival on a brutal world, Markus Wolfe has overcome each trial he’s been confronted with since then. He’s no longer just a stranger lost in the wild but the very heart of a growing pack. But with old wounds still gnawing at him and new responsibilities piling up, he must find a way to protect those who now look to him for leadership . . . even if he’s not entirely sure he can protect himself.

Meanwhile, Markus also made a promise to his new ally, River: in exchange for the lizard-man’s help rescuing the leopard cub Lathani, Markus will save River’s people. But that means facing a forest of carnivorous trees. Markus will do everything in his power to defeat them, but his Core space still bears the scars of absorbing too much Pure Energy chasing false promises in days past. If he hopes to make it through this next round of tribulations, he’ll need to unlock a new kind of magic . . .

But it’s not all war and wounds. As Markus’s team grows, so do the bonds—and tensions—between its members. From prickly alliances to Lathani testing her claws, they’ll navigate the tangled web of loyalty as raw magic hums through the land. And when Fenrir the lizog is abducted, the pack’s trust will be tested as they risk their lives to rescue him.

Taming Destiny - Book 4: Growth

Power can force obedience... but it can’t create loyalty.

Since he arrived in a world where survival is the only law, Markus Wolfe has been building something fragile and precious: a pack. A family forged not through domination, but through trust.

But trust has a cost.

Lathani has triggered a Companion Bond without his conscious consent, forcing Markus into a confrontation where victory itself could destroy everything he’s built. Because the one who comes for him in fury might be cloaked in the form of a giant leopard, but she is a mother, not a monster.

To fight back could shatter the bonds he values most. To hesitate risks her tearing everything apart before she ever hears the truth.

And that is only the beginning. Tensions rise with the samuran village Markus once infiltrated. A forest of carnivorous, intelligent trees spreads across the valley. And a mysterious quest hints that a far deeper threat may be growing beneath the chaos.

To protect his pack, Markus must do more than survive. He must learn to lead those who see him as prey, wield authority without becoming the tyrant he fears, and negotiate with forces powerful enough to tear his fragile alliances apart.

Because if you held the power to bind even your enemies to your will… what kind of leader would you choose to become?

Beast King Ascension

Face the apocalypse as a lion. Non-human main character with the consciousness of both human and lion still present. Some harem elements (of course - lions!)

Book 1: Chimera Rising

Most people would come to lament the day the System Apocalypse arrived; it saved Dominic’s life.

It came at a price: now he’s a juvenile lion and has to progress like a Beast if he hopes to survive long enough to regain access to his human form. However, Beasts have their own advantages and Dominic has been given a gift as a result of his odd situation. Plus, having the claws and teeth of one of the top predators of the savannah might come in handy in defending against everything that’s trying to kill him. Which is to say: everything.
